Communion to the Sick & Homebound

Saint Catherine of Siena Parish recognizes that sick and homebound parishioners are part of our community. Ministers of Holy Communion are available to these people; including children, who have received their first Holy Communion.

Taking the Body of Christ to someone dictates a contribution of time, but no minister leaves empty handed. The Holy Spirit offers gratitude and appreciation that helps our ministers to grow as compassionate  followers of Christ.

Currently our ministers visit Catholics at Friendship Manner, located on the south-east corner of 500 East and 1300 South. They may also be called upon to visit parishioners in their homes or hospital. The CSH works in collaboration with the Caring Ministry which is coordinated by Mickey Adelhardt.
