Join us for a young adult Holy Hour before the Blessed Sacrament at the Cathedral. We will start with evening prayer, and then there will be times of silence and some Taize music as well. The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be offered during this time.
December 10th, 8:30-4PM, Gathering Space- Wait! It’s Advent! Retreat
Take some time to slow down before the holiday season and join us for our annual Advent retreat. It will take place on December 10th from 8:30am-4:00pm. Please register for the retreat by December 8th by filling out a paper form in the gathering space or online here. There is a suggested $15 donation which will be collected at the retreat to cover the cost of food and materials. If you have any questions, please contact Jeanne Lachowski at [email protected]
December 11th, 1PM, Chapel- St. Catherine of Siena: A Woman for Our Times
Sr. Nancy Murray, OP, is a Dominican sister of the Adrian Dominican community in Adrian, Michigan. She also happens to be the sister of actor Bill Murray, and a bit of an actor herself. Her one-woman performance of the life of St. Catherine of Siena is a dynamic play that highlights the strengths and struggles of a great saint. It reflects on relevant applications of her life to today’s world. Come join the St. Catherine’s and Dominican community for this once-in-a-lifetime event. Tickets are $7, and you can purchase them online or at the parish office.
December 14th, 7pm, Chapel- Advent Penance Service
Join us for a Penance Service to prepare for the coming of the Savior and experience the mercy of God. There will be six priests available for the Sacrament of Confession, and Adoration will be going on as well.
