High school Kairos Retreat

High School Kairos Retreat
April 13th-15th

Kairos is a three-day, two-night retreat focused on the relationships in a person’s life – their relationship with God, with themselves, and with those around them. This type of retreat has proven to be a significant experience for those who attend, and we are excited to be offering it to teenagers in the Diocese of Salt Lake City. It will be led by a team of high school students who have spent over two months preparing for the retreat, accompanied by adults in the area who have led this retreat experience before.

When: Friday, April 13th, starting at 4 p.m. through Sunday, April 15th ending around 2 p.m.

Where: Camp Kostopulos, 4180 Emigration Canyon Rd, Salt Lake City, UT 84108

For every student that attends the retreat, at least one parent or guardian of the student MUST attend one parent meeting. Two will be offered: one on Monday, March 5th and one on Wednesday, March 7th. Both meetings will be held at Cate’s Cafe attached to the St. Catherine of Siena Newman Center at 170 University Ave, Salt Lake City, UT 84102 at 6:00 p.m. If you know that you cannot make one of these meetings but would still like to register your child for the retreat, please contact either Michelle Ahrens or Catherine Coffey.

Payment for the retreat will be due at the parent meeting you attend, and the cost of the retreat will be $100, which includes of the cost of lodging, meals, and materials for the weekend. If cost may be a barrier to your child attending, please reach out to us and we will work with you to make attendance possible!

How to Register: Register at https://goo.gl/forms/fy8abccP2g3J6RiX2 to solidify your child’s spot on the retreat. We will only have room for 35 retreatants, and we will accept students based on the time their registration is submitted. Registration is due by March 1st.
