Taizé Prayer and Eucharistic Adoration

Adoration takes place in our chapel every Wednesday from 7:30pm until 8:30pm.  Throughout Eucharistic Adoration Taizé music is sung. It is a form of reflective prayer that incorporates chanting as a background for meditation or quiet prayer. It is an opportunity to sit in the Lord’s presence and become more aware of His love for us. Those present can use this time to praise and thank Jesus for everything He has done for them. Adoration is an excellent opportunity to reflect on all that has happened during the week and talk to Jesus about both the positive and negative experiences. It is a time to share our joys and sorrows with Him. This is also a good place and time to ask for Jesus’ help and guidance with challenging situations in our lives.
