Our Parish

Welcome to St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Newman Center!

St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Newman Center is a Catholic Community that provides for the spiritual needs of students and all from the universities, colleges, and surrounding communities who join us.  We are a home of worship, hospitality, service, and religious education.  We provide a home where parishioners can strengthen their faith, develop their gifts, and grow into passionate, faithful disciples of Christ and leaders of the Catholic Church.

The St. Catherine’s community is vital and necessary in the task of realizing the Incarnation of Jesus Christ on campus and in the world.  We challenge ourselves to make St. Catherine’s into a place of welcome and joy as we worship together; to be a place of generous hospitality and resource for those seeking to learn about scripture, sacraments and the Catholic tradition; and to especially be a place of hope and solace for those in time of need.

In this “Our Parish” section, you will learn about the history of the parish, our patroness St. Catherine of Siena, the Blessed  John Henry Newman, the beautiful liturgical art that is a part of our worship space, the Dominican priests that serve the Parish as well as the Parish staff who, along with the Priests and lay volunteers, help run  the Parish.
