Behold, Newman 2018 Summer Trip! This time it’s going to be a road trip through fascinating, culturally diverse (and yes, relatively affordable!) cities of Central and Eastern Europe. Vienna and Salzburg (Austria), Prague (Czechia), Budapest (Hungary), Split and Dubrovnik (Croatia). It’s hard to believe that a hundred years ago, until 1918, all these places were one country, the Austro-Hungarian Empire… We will explore world-class art, stunning architecture, great food, and finally the picturesque Adriatic coast. Why? Because we want to feed our CATHOLIC IMAGINATION: to behold the Beauty, to try to understand its ways, and to shape our lives in response to it!
Who is this trip for? Young adults (students and young professionals, ages 18-35)
Dates: May 8-24, 2018
Budget: ~$750 + airfare ($600-700)
