This winter we sent over twenty students and young adults to SEEK, a Catholic conference sponsored by FOCUS (Fellowship Of Catholic University Students).
It is St. Catherine's annual tradition that at the beginning of Advent we gather for an evening of prayer to enter more deeply into the mystery of the season. This year's vigil took place on Saturday, December 1.

Over the past year, I spent a lot of time thinking, praying, and talking about our parish. I would like to share with you some fruits from these conversations in this letter.

Thank you also to Angie and Michelle, who will be graduating from Notre Dame this summer and leaving us to serve the broader church. Our Campus Ministry took a group of 30+ students to Capitol Reef for a weekend of prayer, fellowship, and surrendering to the beauty of God's creation.
Reverend Augustine Hilander, OP will join the St. Catherine of Siena Dominican Community this August. He will serve as the chaplain for the University of Utah Medical Center, Primary Children's Hospital, and the Huntsman Cancer Center. We are thankful to have Fr. Augustine further our Newman Center outreach to the medical community!
