Saturday, December 2, 7 – 9 PM
Drawing from prayer traditions of both the Christian West and East, Rome and Byzantium, we will be “breathing with both lungs of the Church” in joyful expectation of the Messiah. The night will consists of Adoration, the prayer of the psalms, meditation on ancient Advent readings, and a powerful 6th century Byzantine chant named Akathist to the Theotokos. See more details on Facebook.

Come, meditate on the Scripture and the ancient Church writers in the presence of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.

Join us for the third annual Neighborhood Interfaith Christmas with the LDS University Ward. Following the 10:45 am Mass (around noon), both the Catholic and Mormon congregation will gather at St. Catherine’s for a reflection and Christmas caroling. Next, we will move over to the LDS social hall for a potluck lunch and networking. We need volunteers to provide soups and deserts! If you would like to help, please contact Angie at [email protected]
