Father Jacek (pronounced “YAH-tsik”) became pastor of St. Catherine’s in July 2017, after a year of ministering at Juan Diego Catholic High School in Draper, UT. Fr. Jacek was born and raised in Poland, where he joined the Dominican Order and received ordination to the priesthood in 1995. He has been working in the United States since 2000, mostly in campus and high school ministry in New York, Virginia, Minnesota, Oregon, and Arizona. At St. Catherine’s Fr. Jacek’s duties as the pastor include coordinating sacramental life, faith formation, and the administrative needs of St. Catherine’s.
